Whenever I’m out on a house call I bring a tube-at-breast feeding system. This way, if supplementation is required (for any reason) we can try it at-breast!

Whether using formula or expressed breast milk, tube-at-breast is a great way to keep baby at the breast to help maintain or boost milk supply while providing the extra nourishment required. A feeding system like this does not need to be complicated or expensive.

As pictured below, you can use bottles you may have on hand and a nasogastric tube which can be found at most local pharmacies.
